At 11:15am New Zealand time (2315 GMT, 1915 US Eastern time), Reserve Bank of New Zealand Governor Christian Hawkesby will provide brief remarks at the Financial Services Council’s annual conference:
- will discuss the August Monetary Policy Statement (MPS) and the Capital Review consultation
- The RBNZ says that “No new information will be provided regarding economic conditions or the August MPS”
- Hawkesby’s speech will be followed by a question and answer session with conference attendees
