The USD has moved higher after Israel’s strike on Iran nuclear facilities. What next?

Israel struck Iran with military action on their nuclear facilities and an ballistic military factories along with military leaders. That sent the US dollar higher. US yields are also marginally higher which is a bit unusual .

Looking at the US yields:

  • 2-year yield 3.911%, +0.6 basis point
  • 5 year yield 3.962%, +0.4 basis points
  • 10 year yield 4.359%, +0.2 basis points
  • 30 year yield 4.846%, +0.3 basis points

US stocks are lower to start the US session in premarket trading, but steady as well.

  • The NASDAQ is down -1.13%.
  • The S&P index is down -0.90% and the
  • Dow industrial average is down -1.0%.

Crude oil is up sharply by 7.95% at $73.45. Gold is trading up $37 or 1.1% at $3423.56. Bitcoin is down marginally ($-600) at $105,121
