Asked about the two week timeline floated by the press secretary, he says it’s “just time to see whether or not people come to their senses.” He added that two weeks is the maximum.
I don’t see anything to trade on these headlines. There is some hope for negotiations from what he’s saying, but he could easily change his mind or it could be a smokescreen.
