US firms thinking of buliding in the US to replace imports from China will need to reconsider their plans in light of another retreat from Trump on tariffs. Speaking over the weekend on the tariffs he has placed on China:
- “At some point, I’m going to lower them, because otherwise, you could never do business with them, and they want to do business very much”
